The mission of Oasis is to change the lives of women and children by breaking the cycle of poverty through compassionate programs designed to feed, clothe, educate, and empower women and children in need.
Adult Education
Oasis changes lives by providing multiple educational opportunities to women looking to rise out of poverty. Supervised childcare is provided for children up to age 5 to ensure our adult students can make a commitment to their education.

Youth Development
All Oasis youth development programs encourage respect, teamwork and tolerance for one another, as well as promote healthy and productive life long habits. They directly support working families by providing a safe haven for their children from the tough streets of Paterson outside of school hours.

The Oasis Social Services Department provides support services to our adult education students, as well as the greater Paterson community.

Basic Needs
Oasis currently serves those fighting poverty by meeting numerous basic needs:
- Daily breakfast and lunch served Monday - Friday
- Food bags from our pantry
- Clothing for women and children in need
- Diapers/other baby needs
