Living in our current world, we're often stuck in our head and easily forget that our bodies hold a great deal of important and useful information. Throughout life we may have been taught to ignore or not trust those internal messages. Together we learn to safely tap into those parts that may have been hidden for so long and give them a voice. It's a joy for me to help people become more attuned to both their mind and body and explore their past in a safe, supportive way. By doing this, we'll store memories in a more adaptive way and build confidence to move forward.
Treatment should be curated to fit the needs of each person which might change day to day, and that's OK! I honor and welcome these shifts as an opportunity for exploration and use different modalities integrating EMDR and somatic practices, always keeping a curious and open mind.
