Families First, Inc. Positive Parenting
Provides group and individualized training to parents, guardians, and others responsible for raising and care of children, regardless of their ability to pay. Provides family support for those struggling with substance abuse, and provides the community with positive and practical child-rearing applications. Also provides corporate training and continuing staff development each year as a licensing requirement for daycare and pre-schools.
Families for Families
We help families as they are transitioning out of homeless shelters with furniture, housewares, clothing and other basic necessities as well as mentoring opportunities to help families reach a place of financial stability.
We also have a food pantry that is open Fridays 3-5 and Sundays 10-12 except for the first weekend of the month.
Family Circle Support Group
A self-help group for family members who are caring for an adult with a mental illness. Come learn from other group members about what you can do for yourself and your relative and how to cope with your situation and your feelings.
