Korean-Language Mental Health First Aid Training

Family Touch is offering a free Korean-language Mental Health First Aid training for adults. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of depression, anxiety, suicide risk, and substance use; provide basic support during a mental health crisis; reduce stigma; and connect individuals with professional help and community resources.
The training will include practical scenarios and role-playing exercises and will be led by Dr. Inkyu Moon, Ph.D., LCSW, and certified Mental Health First Aid instructor. Participants who complete the training will receive a certificate from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
The program will be held online via Zoom on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The lecture will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by questions, discussion, and self-study from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Participation is free. For more information, contact [email protected] or 201-242-4422.
